Proposal instructions

Notify Bill Testory (4-2943, testory@mrl.uiuc.edu) in the Business Office as soon as you know you will be submitting a proposal. Include the agency, due date, and program solicitation information (if there is one). He will then notify the Director's Office about the proposal. Director's Office staff will contact you with a timeline to successfully complete the proposal.

Proposals must conform to the requirements set forth in the solicitation or guidelines provided by the funding agency. Failure to do so will result in the proposal being returned without being reviewed.

It is important that you complete your proposal 10 business days prior to the due date in order to submit to the UIUC Office of Sponsored Programs and Research Administration (OSPRA) for submission through Grants.gov. All other proposals (not being submitted through Grants.gov must be completed no less than 5 business days before the submission deadline.
